  Note: Kendro has (or, gets, I guess. He's a character from a story project.) a form of vampirism that affects the body like AIDS. It causes any color in the body (skin, hair, eyes) to fade and basically kills the immune system until the body slows down.
  
  They are not dead, but they do share several traits with mythical vampires. They do drink bood, but they're very careful about it, they are very easily sunburned, and they develop unusual allergies (such as garlic). Not gettimg enough blood will result in a sort of coma (think diabetes, but with blood).
